CID

Run your first workflow

Trigger a run manually and watch it execute.

On the Workflows tab, click Run next to your workflow. This starts the run immediately, regardless of what trigger type the workflow is configured with.

The run panel slides in from the right and shows, in order:

  1. A Setup block — for a server workflow, CID connects over SSH and uploads changed files to the server's remote deploy path; on this computer it shows which shell and folder the steps run in.
  2. Each step, in the order you defined them, with live output as it runs. The running step opens automatically.
  3. Any artifacts the run kept, with an Open folder button — see Artifacts.

You can Cancel run while it's queued or running, from the computer that's running it. If a step fails, the run stops and any remaining steps are marked skipped. Once a run has finished, Run again starts the same workflow fresh. See Logs for how output is captured, and Errors for how failures are reported.

You don't have to keep the panel open. When a run finishes CID shows a notification in the app — and a desktop notification if CID is in the background. Click it to jump back to the run. Every run is also listed on the project's Runs tab.
