CID

Add an SSH server

Register a machine CID can deploy to over SSH.

You only need a server for workflows that deploy somewhere else. A workflow can also run on this computer, with no server or SSH key at all.

Open your project's Connections tab, find the Servers section, and click Add server.

FieldDefaultNotes
Name—Required. Must be unique within the project.
Host—Required, e.g. example.com.
Port22
Usernameroot
SSH keyNo keyPick a key you've already added — see SSH keys. Can be left unset and attached later.
Remote deploy path—e.g. /home/deploy/app. Stored locally only, like the repository path — every step's command runs with this as its working directory.

After saving, use the Test button on the server row — CID opens an SSH connection (through your proxy, if one is configured) and runs echo ok, then marks the server Connected or Disconnected accordingly.
